Abstract

This research explores the development and evaluation of a Virtual Reality (VR) Learning and Practical Hub aimed at improving mechanical engineering education at a Faculty of Engineering. A survey was conducted with students across various academic levels to identify essential engineering concepts and practical sessions for VR integration. The VR application was refined through pilot tests, incorporating student feedback. A final evaluation was performed by comparing traditional and VR-based practical sessions, measuring student engagement, productivity, and interest. The results indicate that VR has significant potential to enhance learning experiences in engineering education.
