Growth Models and Their Use in Plantation Forestry

Abstract

Sustainable management of forest resources require a large amount of supporting information. Especiallywhen managing a forest for production of commercially valuable materials, estimation of present growthof variables (such as timber volume) are not possible to measure easily as is estimation of growth valuesfor the future which are an essential need.
