About the Journal

International Journal of Social Statistics (IJSS) is an open-access double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of Social Statistics, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. The journal serves as a forum for knowledge dissemination on theoretical works of statistics and the application of statistical techniques in any disciplines that fall within the scope of the journal. Further, it welcomes empirical papers, addressing insights into quantitative works in statistics.

 

Aim and Scope

The primary objective of IJSS is to advance and expand the utilization of suitable statistical methodologies across various domains, both in theoretical and applied contexts, through the provision of a platform for the dissemination of exceptional research findings. The e-journal will enthusiastically accept submissions spanning diverse disciplines such as Social Science, Natural Science, Life Science, and others, fostering the integration of statistical methods in interdisciplinary research endeavors while promoting a comprehensive comprehension of statistical applications across multiple fields.
