About the Journal

The Journal of Social Reconciliation (JSR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, biannual journal published by the Social Reconciliation Centre of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. It is published twice a year, in June and December, as an e-journal and welcomes original manuscripts in Sinhala, Tamil, and English.

The journal provides a platform for disseminating knowledge on the theoretical and practical applications of social reconciliation. Given the ongoing study on knowledge discovery in the topic of social harmony and its present significance, the decision was made to publish this collection of research. This intends to offer a platform for researchers inside the Sri Lankan Higher Education System to publish novel knowledge resulting from their study in the subject.

Aim and Scope

The aim of JSR is to provide a platform for sharing outstanding research findings and welcomes submissions from diverse disciplines such as Social Science, Natural Science, Life Science, and others. JSR attempts to promote the incorporation of statistical techniques into interdisciplinary research, to cultivate a thorough comprehension of statistical applications in many domains.
