Journal of Intangible Cultural Heritage
The Journal of Intangible Cultural Heritage (JICH) aims to promote scholarly work on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH). It is devoted to introducing and disseminate knowledge on important and timely topics on ICH by publishing high – quality research and scholarly articles in the domains of ICH.
JICH is an online, peer reviewed, open access, biannually published journal. To reach for a wider audience the journal accepts original research articles, review articles and book reviews written in Sinhala, Tamil or English languages.
The journal welcomes research and scholarly articles under the following five broad ‘domains’ proposed by UNESCO’s 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.

පුමිතිරි 'Pumithiri' e-Journal of Gender Studies
The discourse on gender has garnered considerable attention in recent times, with scholars from various disciplines focusing on this topic within the context of their respective research areas. Reflecting this academic interest, the Equal Opportunity Cell of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura has launched an electronic journal on gender studies, titled ‘Pumithiri’ in 2021. This journal serves as a platform for disseminating scholarly articles authored by academics, researchers, and interest groups dedicated to gender studies.

Journal of Social Reconciliation
The Journal of Social Reconciliation (JSR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, biannual journal published by the Social Reconciliation Centre of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. It is published twice a year, in June and December, as an e-journal and welcomes original manuscripts in Sinhala, Tamil, and English.
The journal provides a platform for disseminating knowledge on the theoretical and practical applications of social reconciliation. Given the ongoing study on knowledge discovery in the topic of social harmony and its present significance, the decision was made to publish this collection of research. Journal of Business Research and Insights (former Vidyodaya Journal of Management)
The Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC), University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), Sri Lanka publishes the Journal of Business Research and Insights (JBRI) which is a double-blind peer-reviewed and bi annually journal. JBRI disseminates and shares new knowledge among academics, professionals, and other pertinent parties by publishing high-quality research papers in the areas of business, management, and relevant multidisciplinary studies. FMSC’s management journal was first published in 2002 as Vidyodaya Journal of Management Science, but it was re-launched in 2015 as Vidyodaya Journal of Management. In 2024, the Journal of Business Research and Insights (JBRI) was relaunched, recognizing the need for a more focused platform. The term "Management" had become overly broad, encompassing diverse fields such as Medical Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Allied Health Sciences, Dental Sciences, Urban and Aquatic Bioresources, and Computing Management. The relaunch aimed to provide a dedicated space for research and insights within the business domain, promoting a more targeted and specialized approach to knowledge dissemination. The FMSC is the pioneer in management education in the Sri Lankan university system and it has an eminent history of more than 65 years. The Faculty’s research involvements are a strong indication of innovation and intellectual challenge that demonstrates its leadership in management education in Sri Lanka and the region of South Asia. The JBRI provides a platform to disseminate and share new knowledge, and it encourages researchers to submit their outstanding research work in the broad areas of business, management, and relevant multidisciplinary studies.

Focus and Scope

Proceedings of International Polymer Science and Technology Symposium
The “International Symposium on Polymer Science and Technology 2012 in Collaboration with Industries,Institutions and Universities” (IIUPST 2012) is held with the main objective of merging the academia and polymer industry on a common platform to exchange information and novel ideas to enhance research and development.

We have a strong collaborative team of eminent professionals and experienced specialists with wide-ranging areas of expertise in the field of Polymer Science and Technology. The polymer community in Sri Lanka consists of rubber/plastic based industries, rubber plantation industries and textile/apparel industries which contribute exceedingly to our national economy.
We strongly believe that research and development in this community are indispensable in winning over the economic challenges of the country. Having a symposium in collaboration with the academia and industries in Sri Lanka will enhance the partnerships between the industrial sector and government research centers and thus, strengthen our nation’s fiscal framework in an effective way. -
